When you enter for the first time in Moria, 1001 steps are waiting for you to reach the famous depths of Dwarven. With Mines of Moria, the producers have tried something different: they have reproduced the labyrinths of narrow halls and mithril caverns mines that are more interesting that the hills of Middle Earth.

Besides the several new character classes, the producers haven't added too much to attract more players. In contrast, for veterans, it is a treasure, the story missions are excellently implemented and they must necessarily bought especially for 50 level ones.

The mines are not the only new area of the game. You will spend some time in Eregion and later on in Lothlorien. But by far the most incredible region of the game is Khazaf Dum, much more surprising than you expected, which is actually a huge underground dungeon. The appearance of the area is very well detailed and monsters will take you by surprise without knowing what to expect. You will have that feeling of fear as after any corner can be attacked by evil creature from the game. The soundtrack of the game emphasized the atmosphere.

These new areas are not just fillers. Their design is complex and the new tactics of fights are simply amazing. It is wonderful how the design of levels is entwined with the story, an art which applies in most MMORPGs, and Mines of Moria represent all these with success. Although some chapters of the game are not very intelligent, most are like a script well done created.

Although in the game you will find missions that you can solve by yourself, you will prefer in most situation to call a friend or two to help you. The dark caverns don't just seem dangerous, they actually are, and the explorations were generally provided for siblings. This one was a smart decision because it only benefits, more experience and a better handling of the character which is needed in PVP.

Despite the fact that Mines of Moria was not designed as a solo experience, the game offers you enough opportunities to play by yourself if you are not in the mood of socializing. Numerous solo missions require knowledge of your character and enemies you fight that are smart enough to create you big problems. Another way to spend time in Lord of The Rings universe without a fight or exploring is to create legendary weapons.

As you can see, Lord of The Rings Mines of Moria is an excellent game to play that not only offers you the chance to play in an amazing universe, it gives you the chance to live the adventures of your favorite characters.
